1/2 Of Americans Support Domestic Surveillance Drones
44% support the idea of police using unmanned aerial vehicles to track suspects and carry out investigations (pdf). (Who is dense enough to believe that drones would only be used for that purpose?) Only 36% said that they “strongly oppose” or “somewhat oppose” domestic use of drones. In other words, only 1/3 of those surveyed care about privacy from the state. The founding fathers are rolling in their graves.
