Buried Headlines: July 10, 2012
On Sunday I reported that Obama gave a weekend executive order that redirects the implementation of all emergency communications through the Executive Branch of the federal government in times of "crisis". I made the point that no emergency response to any disaster, natural or man-made, would require a complete government takeover of the nation's communications networks, and the only the only scenario in which I could see this order being used is one in which the Government itself is threatened, either by foreign invasion or by citizen revolt.

The Government clearly feels threatened by its citizens. The Daily Caller published yesterday an opinion piece from former congressman from Georgia and Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr that reminded us that Homeland Security continues to demonize conservatives and libertarians. I promise you that they're not demonizing us for our ideologies. They're demonizing us because they're afraid that we will eventually exercise our rights to alter or abolish the tyrannical federal government we currently have.
