CNBC is calling New Democracy winners of the Greek election. I'm surprised that a plurality of Greeks would support a pro-austerity party (an IMF/CIA/Diebold conspiracy?), but the fact remains that Pasok has made it clear that it will not form a coalition government with ND without the participation with Syriza. In other words, nothing has changed. Greece is still devoid a government that will accept austerity terms associated with a bailout. There might be a little more time on the clock now, but we're still under a red alert.

the election was definitely a conspiracy. the bernank and other bilderbergers want to protect the equity markets and the delicate stability in the us and europe. they don't care that the longer the can is kicked down the road the more painful the day of reckoning will be. just like they didn't care that they doomed us to years of economic depression by preventing the system from deleveraging and clearing itself of malinvestment after the crash of 08. same old bs.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to believe that the world is free of election fraud, but, as you alluded, the powers-that-be have trillions upon trillions of dollars at stake. They need the modicum of economic stability we're currently experiencing, and I wouldn't put a Greek election conspiracy past them.
