A libertarian is not an anarchist. A libertarian believes in national sovereignty as well as individual sovereignty. As a libertarian, I find Obama's amnesty repugnant. Unfettered immigration has never in the history of the world ended well. I don't care that the U.S. is a nation of immigrants. It is also a nation with chronic unemployment and crushing debt. I read that back and forth you had with that guy on Twitter. I happen to agree that unfettered immigration impedes the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of legal citizens. It floods the labor market, it introduces new diseases, and it's ultimately an additional burden to the taxpayer.
